The American Play Money Society (APMS)
...a non-profit, educational organization for collectors of play money, was dedicated to the promotion and research of play money and related exonumia.
It was formed in 1996 and the first issue of the newsletter, Fun Money, was published in June of that year. A total of 25 newsletters were published concluding with the June 2002 issue.

The Society ceased operations on May 31, 2002.
Newsletter
Society operations were discontinued on May 31, 2002; however, information about the newsletter is provided as a courtesy. Fun Money, the newsletter of the American Play Money Society, was published quarterly to publicize activities of the Society and to distribute educational information regarding play money. Newsletter publication dates were the first day of March, June, September and December. A list of the major articles published is shown below.
